ABOUT THE RESIDENCY
As international ambassadors for the hip-hop form, Rennie Harris and his dancers were an ideal choice to travel to the Middle East. As part of their residency, the company led a four-day hip-hop camp with 60 Palestinian dancers from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza; worked with Ethiopian kids in Israel; and organized and directed a hip-hop event in Cairo, auditioning more than 50 local crews for a grassroots production.
