The twelve artists in the final edition of DanceMotion USA℠’s Professional Development Program hailed from across the country and around the world, including Colombia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Peru, and Russia.
ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
In August 2018, twelve artists from Brooklyn and beyond came together at BAM for a week to develop their professional skills. In addition to daily movement workshops with former DMUSA alumni, the artists collaborated with one another in the studio, engaged in professional development trainings through a partnership with Creative Capital, and showcased their studio collaborations in a final choreographic showing of their work.
